Question to last night’s loudest police bashers: If you were suddenly confronted by a carload of thugs on University Avenue, would you want to be rescued by: a) Mayor Mike McGinn charging up on his bicycle, b) Somebody from the ACLU, c) A couple of guys from Open Carry.org, or d) A carload of the biggest, toughest-looking Seattle police officers you could get from central casting?
