It was probably my email to him where I told him I would do everything possible to make sure he wasn't re-elected that did him in.

IMO he was not a good representative and voted straight party lines. I sent the same email to Mark Warner. Hopefully Virginia can wipe the slate clean and start over with some fiscal conservates who will not run this country into the ground through debt and socialism. We simply can't afford it.

Virginia gun owners take note - we don't want to go from the frying pan to the fire.

Time to organize and find a strong constitutionalist, pro-gun candidate. The time is right.

That's my real concern here. Webb had a permit and even though he was a snake he did do a few things pro. I doubt we will see a pro-gun guy get the nob based on how this area has been voting as of late.

As we should all know by now, any Senator with a (D) after their name is going to vote to confirm any nomination put forth by an anti-gun administration. If Webb wouldn't stand up for RKBA in that respect, none of them will.

Allen may not be as supportive as we like, or even not at all, but I bet he would have voted "NO" for both Sotomayor and Kagan.

Perhaps gun hating progressive Tim Kaine will run.

If it were just Northern Virginia voting, I'd agree. I believe most of the rest of the state has its head screwed on straight. Webb didn't win by a large margin, IIRC.

We got Obama didn't we.
It's because of the government mind scanners. Anywhere there are cell towers, people can be manipulated.

That's why I'm so level headed:uhoh: No cell towers!

Please no... Just no. Dont give people ideas like that they might just follow through with them.

Right, that's why we have two Webb and Warner and voted for Obama. The Dems are just way to active in NoVA. I have had to chase them off my property a few times. They never wanted to talk to me just my wife for some odd reason. I wonder if it has to do with her being a minority?

Wittman eyed for Senate run?

Hmm, interesting.

Wittman eyed for Senate run?

RICHMOND—Some Republicans, apparently not satisfied with the two announced Republican candidates for the 2012 race, are encouraging Rep. Rob Wittman to run.

Wittman, a Republican from Montross who’s in his second full congressional term for the 1st District, is seen as more moderate than other candidates already declared or considering a run.

Regarding Webb, I remember a few years ago, when Tony Macrini, the host of morning talk on WNIS-AM in Norfolk, tried to pin Webb down on-air about his support for a non-Constitutional vote that Webb had cast previously, and Webb, aggravated by the question, accused Tony of getting mired in legal particulars!

"Support and Defend the Constitution," indeed! Ha! Good riddance, valor notwithstanding!
