Constitutional Carry very close! PLEASE help! Got emailed this.

    Dear Dion,

If you could step in a time machine and turn back the clock to, say, April 19, 1775, to the Battle of Lexington and Concord, would you want to be there?

Wyoming Gun Owners is just a step away from passing Constitutional Carry.
Click here to support the bill's final passage with a donation.

Would you have supported our Founding Fathers in the historic battle that started the American Revolution?

I believe something similar is happening -- in Wyoming -- right now that you’ll want to be a part of as well.

No, it’s not as earth shattering as the “Shot Heard Round the World.”

But the battle in Wyoming for Constitutional Carry does have significant importance to every gun owner in America.

And I want you to be a part of it.

You see, Wyoming is on the verge of passing a Constitutional Carry law.

Yep. No permit needed to carry concealed. No “big-brother-may-I”, no lists, no hoops-and-hurdles.

As Senator Kit Jennings (the sponsor of this bill) put it, the Second Amendment is your permit.

The implications of passing this law – to join Vermont, Alaska and Arizona as no-permit-needed states – are profound.

As I write this e-mail, the Wyoming House of Representatives is staged to begin debate.

But Wyoming Gun Owners needs your help.

To get this through the legislature WyGO has had to put significant pressure on local politicians.

And, if it makes it to the Governor’s desk – and I think it will – we need to make sure there’s pressure on the Governor (who’s being tight-lipped about it) to sign it.

This bill has already made it through a Senate Committee, through the State Senate floor, and through a House Committee. There are really only two hurdles left, and we don’t want to leave this to chance.

If you could aid our founding fathers in Lexington and Concord, would you?

We weren’t around for those battles, obviously, but we’re around now to help keep the ball rolling for true freedom in America.

    So, will you?

I know I will. And have, by donating directly to Wyoming Gun Owners.

Please join me in helping Wyoming Gun Owners pass this historic legislation by donating $100, $50 or $25 directly to Wyoming Gun Owners.

Or if you’re more comfortable make a generous contribution of $100, $50 or $25 through the National Association for Gun Rights, click here.

ALL of the donations made through that page will go directly to Wyoming Gun Owners (without sharing any donor information) to help pass this Constitutional Carry bill.

And every dollar counts in this fight so even if you can only chip in $10 or $20, it will make a difference.

Please, there's no time to waste.

    For liberty,

    Dudley Brown
    Executive Director
    National Association for Gun Rights

P.S. We are winning in Wyoming! Constitutional Carry is important for every state, and a win in Wyoming means an easier time for other states as well.

Please help Wyoming Gun Owners finish strong and face their last battle in the State House. Click here to chip in $15 or $20 to help us pass this historic legislation.

Yeah I was just wondering if there is anyone in this Wyoming forum? Seems very quiet.

I have already met person to person face to face with more than one of the representatives in the House who will be considering this bill. The ones I have talked to support it wholeheartedly, including the one who represents the district I live in.

I also believe that if it passes the legislature, the governor will sign it. He is not as conservative as some of his primary opponents, but he is concerned enough about his conservative image and does have a bit of a conservative streak in him to carry through with signing.

More on the governor. In Wyoming it is unlawful for the governor to comment on pending legislation. He cannot threaten a veto nor comment that he likes a bill like it is.

Bills are also required to be single subject bills. No hanging of unrelated items on bills like they do in Congress. Wyoming does it right.
