Next on the list (or getting the anti's panties in twist)

With indulgence, knowing that there should be no long gun discussion here. The next purchase on my list:

When in danger you can dial 911 and hope for the police to arrive a few minutes later armed with guns.

I have seen them for $ 2700.00 but not at a gun store get it from someone you know with a FFL & save like $600.00
The FNH SCAR 17s is a sweet rifle but I can't Justify spending close to 3 k on it.

This is My next purchase this summer.... http://www.bushmaster.com/catalog_xm...30816MLMOE.asp

SCARs are way overpriced. Nice rifles, but no way I'd pay that for one. I'll save 4-5k more and get a Barrett 82A1, or if I want a .308 semi auto rifle, I'd get an AR10. But that's just me.

A Barrett M82A1 would be SWEET, but very expensive to feed @ about 4-5 bucks a round.

After the Bushmaster 308 , I am going to invest in NFA $5000.00 for a Smith&Wesson Model 76 Sub machine gun.

The same weapon Charlton Heston used in the Omega Man.

But it would be well worth it! I'm also tempted to get an Armalite AR-50A1B. I like to dream big, but who knows if I'll be able to afford either.

It's a nice gun but I'm not sure it's worth the rather large price tag. It is extremely light weight but does feel a little cheap. If you're going to drop that kind of cash look into this

ID:	5261 The metal butt is a little slippery on your shoulder. A wooden or plastic stock would give more mid-range accuracy.

Pretty ! Nice wood grip. I have been Eye Balling the KelTec RFB too. they are all over the place on Gun Broker, the only issue with them is good Metric Magazines are in short supply , the RFB is picky & only likes certain types of Metric fal Magazines

You guys should have been there when I brought my "deer/yote gun"
    into McX's shop....

His eyes got this funny glaze,he started drooling uncontrollably...
not quite sure of this part as I have never seen it in person...
but he also started doing something that could be known in some
circles as the "thorazine shuffle"...as well losing any ability to form more than single word senteces.
He also became as useful as a jellyfish when I showed him a mag full of hand loaded 155 gr Amax. in .308win hoping to snap him out of it.

Now,since it makes me proud to call him a friend and I am only
concerned on his well being....and know full well the certain effect
some fire arms seem to have on him...single word sentence and all....
I think it wise to direct any and all offers of sale to either myself or
    Rcawdor57 first.
