I live in Las Vegas and sometimes travel I-15 So. to the Nipton turnoff and then back into Nv to hunt quail and coyotes.
By Ca. law I cannot take my SWmp9 because all mags hold 17 rounds. Correct?
I can take my Kahr 40 w/6 round mags if it is unloaded and locked in the gun safe and the mag is also unloaded. Correct?
I also cannot CC in Cali. because they do not recognize each others permits.
But I can OC if it is unloaded. But can I have a loaded mag on my person?

I knew I should have went to law school!!
Thanks

Correct? Not familiar with the area of Nipton turnoff, If your on BLM land, or unincorporated area then you can carry loaded, otherwise incorporated cities you can not. I also cannot CC in Cali. because they do not recognize each others permits. Must have Calif CCW to carry in public, no reciprocityBut I can OC if it is unloaded. But can I have a loaded mag on my person? Yes, mags must be visible carried they are integral part of weapon, revolver ammo is not they can be in pocket (concealed ammo). Still subject to school zones and government public buildings restrictions.I knew I should have went to law school!!
Thanks
