You guys carry a lot of stuff.

I just got my first cpl, so I carried for the first time from my house to the range in Arlington.

My XDm .40 S&W in the holster that came with the weapon, and my leather jacket thrown over the top of it for concealment. By the end of the trip, even with my belt, the weapon was poking out the bottom of my coat from the pants sagging. I'm a big dude with no butt to speak of so I envision this being a constant problem. Though a better belt, and holster might help.

Spending my leisure money on ammo to practice with. 100 rounds a week minimum.

Or a pair of these:

For the tactical look there are these (also available in Black, Desert Sand, etc):

After all you wouldn't want to look like this, would you?

I'm 29, I don't know if I could pull off the suspenders like an older, more dignified gentleman could.

And H gear screams mall ninja, unless its a SHTF scenario I'm not wearing those.

Really for me, its wallet, keys, phone, small pocket knife, pistol, extra mag(when i get a mag pouch). I'll try a gun belt and different holster before I move on to suspenders. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Glock 26, Sometimes an extra mag, sometimes my surefire light. G26 in a folbus paddle or the crossbreed supertuck. Also try to never leave home without my people skills and a big box of patience.

Who says you've got to be old to wear suspenders?

Just don't wear them with those pants your old uncle used to wear. You know, the ones that came up half way to his chin.

If I am carrying on my hip, a Glock 20 and a Buck folder.
If CC a Glock 29 and the same folder.
Adding a BU, either the Glock 29 or a Beretta 21A
Hunting, a 4" Redhawk in .45 Colt.
Yeah, I always have a flashlight- An MTE 5-way, with the strobe to "paralyze my enemy" LOL

You might want to be real careful carrying those knives in Seattle. One is just plain illegal and the other one could get you shot.

I rarely go to Seattle, and the last time I did, I could only carry the folder (I just turned 20 at the time). My policy is generally to avoid places that will cause me grief and operate within the bounds of the law.

Long gone
XD 9 or Kimber 10 mm, phone, recorder, pocket knife, brain and several of my lawyer's business cards. Its much easier to hand over a business card than it is to keep saying am I free to go now and I do not consent to any searches etc etc etc.

Because the pocket clip is so menacing. That's all anyone ever sees of it for the most part.

And most people will know what the other part is. A lot of the time, I have to uncliip it from my pocket and let it uncomfortably slide around.

But hey if it keeps 4 shots outta my side I won't complain

Let's see...during the week I carry my Ruger LCP in a Talon wallet holstet loaded with Hornady TAP and a spare mag, CRKT Razel in a Kydex pocket sheath, Streamlight Stylus Pro, wallet, Leatherman Charge, Snap On pocket screwdriver (handy as heck believe it or not), and Droid cell phone. On the weekends I carry the same but the LCP becomes my BUG and I add my XD40SC with gold dots to the mix, either OC or CC in a Galco holster. If I'm headed to the woods I usually opt for the Ruger Redhawk .44 mag with Buffalo Bore 305gr hardcast rounds in a Galco DAO. If I'm wearing this array I rarely find myself SOL. Lol!

Some people would be in for a real surprise if they asked to see my "Knife". I often carry my Kel-Tec P3-AT that has the pocket clip on it. Great little "pocket pistol" and when in my jeans pocket it looks just like an ordinary folding knife clipped there. For SD, it sure beats a 3" Blade.

Before my canoeing accident (easier to explain here on the dry side) my EDC was a Glock 36 in a SERPA paddle. Every once in a while I used to carry my S&W 3913-NL in a Galco Escort waistpack, before the rafting accident, that is.
