Any Fayetteville people on here: trying to find a place to sleep on March 19th...

Yes, this is odd to see a grown person looking for a couch.

I'm taking a two day pistol course (http://www.osagecombatives.com/) on March 19th and 20th, and am trying to save money in the process. The class doesn't get out till 9pm on saturday, and starts again at 9am on sunday, while it is 2.5+ hours from me. I could drive home, but I feel that would be a detriment to my second day. I can get a hotel/motel room, but I'm trying to find every way possible to pinch pennies (while spending money on a pistol course).

If anyone lives in the Fayetteville area, and would be willing to let me shower and sleep on a floor or couch (don't need a bed) I would be extremely thankful.

I know that in college we would put messages out like this to other chapters of a fraternity when traveling, and I'm borrowing the idea.

I'm in Fayetteville but I'm afraid I can't extend the invitation. I'll be at my daughter's house in Wilmington with my son all week for fishing and shooting with her and her gonna-be husband.

That leaves my wife and her friends alone in the house with a couple guns- probably not the place you want to stay lol. Just picture that episode of Married...With Children when they all went camping and the wives decided to go along.

Yeah, you're better off catching a nap in the crocodile cage in a zoo. It'd be safer :)

Smith, I read that as opposite of what was written the first time I looked at it.

Rotorhead, not a problem... does fayetteville have a zoo?

Not in the classic sense, but some of the areas around town would qualify...
