Do KSP & LEO's know that you are CCDW licensed when they run your tag as they stop you? It had been bantered around the forum a few times over the past year or so that I've been a member on here.

Well, I finally had the chance to inquire of a KSP trooper that's a regular where I work. He informed me that at this time they CAN NOT! He went on to tell me that they would have this ability in the near future though and he hoped that it would be very soon.

He lied to you.krs 237.110(10) states any Leo can ask for CCDw status of any one person at time of stop. However listen to a scanner sometimes. As soon as dispatch in Boyd co runs a tag they come right back to the officer with info and registered owner has CCDw license, without the officer even asking. Personally I think this is an invasion on our rights and should b dealt with
