    Don't take a flashlight to a gunfight.

    if that's your only weapon.

LAKE STEVENS -- A Marysville man who was shot in the chest with a .357 Magnum revolver last December during a road-rage dispute could be charged with assault. That's the recommendation of police.

Detectives say the man, 26, was the aggressor in a confrontation that started with salty words in the Frontier Village parking lot in Lake Stevens. Before he was shot, he is accused of beating a Lake Stevens man over the head with a 3-pound flashlight.

No charges are recommended against the 25-year-old man who said he shot in self defense.
Hard to totally defend the driver that got smacked by the passenger as it seems he kind of started the incident but at least it appears he won't be screwed for defending himself.

This investigation took less than three months. Why can't they be this motivated when investigating police shootings.
"If I shoot all the ammo I am carrying I either won't need anymore or more won't help"

"If you refuse to stand up for others now, who will stand up for you when your time comes?"

Because they work symbiotically together as parasites feeding off their hosts.

3 months was way to long to investigate it I bet a group of guys from this site could have finished an investigation in about 2.5 hrs.
I am not anti Cop I am just pro Citizen.

    U.S. v. Minker, 350 US 179, at page 187
"Because of what appears to be a lawful command on the surface, many citizens, because
of their respect for what only appears to be a law, are cunningly coerced into waiving their
    rights, due to ignorance." (Paraphrased)

Its amazing how long it takes the cops to investigate something when one of their own may be suspected of wrong doing . Oh no did I just say that a cop may do wrong.
