    The Duel

An interesting quote, from an editorialist, Joseph Whilden, in the Charleston Gazette- 1820's, at a time when Political-correctness was beginning to rear it's head, and the topic of duels was in debate..

"While we may deplore it's effects, it must be confessed that in many instances, the anticipation of a duel preserves those courtesies of life which otherwise would be frequently violated"....

Duels have morphed into drive by's.

They outlaw them but they still happen in a way.

    Interesting quote by the way.
I am not anti Cop I am just pro Citizen.

    U.S. v. Minker, 350 US 179, at page 187
"Because of what appears to be a lawful command on the surface, many citizens, because
of their respect for what only appears to be a law, are cunningly coerced into waiving their
    rights, due to ignorance." (Paraphrased)
