• We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. It will be worth it! :) Please help by posting all issues here.

The Regional 9-1-1 Center for South King County

The next Citizens Academy will be April 6th-May 25th, 2011.

We sponsor an academy in the fall and spring to introduce the public to 911. This 8 week program covers 911 from the time a call is received to the moment a police or fire dispatch is made. Participants have the opportunity to sit in with a 911 Call Receiver and Dispatcher to gain firsthand knowledge of what actually happens when you call 911.

This is not an employment opportunity. This is a public education offering only

(Applicants must live, work or own property within the geographic area served by Valley Communications Center. Applicants must be 18 years of age. Applicants must have NO felony convictions or recent misdemeanor convictions)
