I just got a Glock 27 and am looking for a holster to conceal and one for possible OC. Right now I have the CQC Serpa for my 22 and it is nice. I would like something like this, but that would not print to much.

You could get a Bianch Carylok. It will sit closer to your body because it is a leather belt holster, but it will still have a retention button release system somewhat similar to the Serpa.

Good find Curtis. I've been interested in one of those for a while, but the location of the release has put me off. I'd prefer the release be in-line with the trigger guard bottom so it's harder to hit it and break it off, plus that location is way out of line for indexing my finger naturally.

DA, you're going to be looking for a pancake holster unless you go IWB. There are some really nice leather options out there. I'm a Serpa guy myself, but the printing becomes a huge issue in the summer, so I go pancake or IWB (Crossbreed is my IWB).

Just out of curiosity: for printing to be such an issue is it because your state has laws against it, or is it because when you want/need to conceal then you want it to be as inconspicuous as possible?

It seems like the CarryLok was designed for releasing the retention by way of using the middle finger and not the index finger. That might make a difference in how your finger lines up along the frame/slide of your pistol. But that would take some practice getting used to if you are used to the Serpa and using your index finger. Simply Rugged makes some good holsters. They ride close, but they don't have an active retention system like the Serpa or CarryLok. Rob could probably add a thumbsnap or retention strap depending on which model holster you went with though.

No, OC is fine here and it does not have to be 100% concealed, its just that some places that are legal to carry tend to ask you to not OC (Casinos and some movie theaters) So I would like it to just be a non issue. I take my G22 everywhere else though.
