You need to ask that in your state forum. Most of the legislation dealing with firearms is handled at the state level (where it should be).

You should know that it is extremely rare for laws to specify what is legal. Laws are for restricting liberty, not granting it.

There's nothing in the CA PC about type of holster (thigh, belt, etc), or required features (retention, etc).... I'd be surprised if the CA legislature ever knew enough about guns to write something like that in. :)

Always good to double check, But I highly doubt that a state that allows OC would tell you "how" to OC. Wouldn't really make sense.
