Okay, how and when did this happen? I thought we're all in angry phase because they wanted us to wear the star of dav- I mean the ID as a badge. This is not the case?

Looks like Evers amended the Bill. It has not passed the committee yet so will have to wait till Criminal Justice, 03/14/11, 1:00 pm, 37 Senate Office Building to see what passes out of this committee. But right now the version that is being "debated" in the legislature is a clean licensed OC bill.

We got several threads going here. Fl sheriff association (Dean) said with the draconian amendments they would support OC. They lied. So now Evers has nothing to loose. If he's going to force Dean into revealing his true colors, it may as well be without the crap attached. We're also hoping against hope that Senate president haridopolis will rescue the bill from the committees. If he does this, I think public college could even be reinserted.

Any reason why the CJ committee isn't streaming at flsenate.gov? I guess we won't be able to watch it.

It will not be streamed at the request of the Florida Sheriff's Association.

Just kidding. Absolute BS that they just do it at random apparently. What's the point of picking and choosing what to stream and what not to?
