Maybe I'll just start leaving it holstered. I wish there were more options for the PT111 for holsters, esp a retention holster.

That is why:

1. I keep it holstered.
B. I have a lockbox in the truck.
III. My wife has her CPL.

Officer: "Step out of the vehicle please..."

Me: "Sorry officer, I cannot legally leave my vehicle with a loaded weapon in it since My kids are in the car with me and they don't have a CPL"
