I've fired bout 600+ rounds of this stuff through my AR pistol without problem (yes, my AR pistol is chambered in 7.62soviet). It's good, cheap stuff.

I showed out this morning and met with with 1911er for breakfast and coffee.

For those that don't know, I had a chance to get 1st hand knowledge of Cabela's "bring in a gun policy for fitting".

I took my BFR 45/70 in to find a case for it. I checked the weapon, where they put a tie on the cylinder as well as a trigger lock.
So we head up the stairs and the clerk heads off to the gun counter. I tell her that I want to fit it for a gun case that is open on the shelf, if it fits, then I will grab it and head back down stairs.
I was told that the gun HAS to go to the gun counter where I have to take a number, then go get the cases, wait my turn, fit the gun, then wait for a clerk from the front door.
I couldn't get her to go to the case, lay the pistol in it. Needless to say the place was packed and I was not going to wait for 40 people so I told her to escort me back to the front door and I left.

Cabela's

Got there too late for coffee and didn't find anything I couldn't live without but had a good time meeting Rugerbabe86 and chatting with 1911er. Saw Golddigger14 and a couple of others carrying concealed (well, sort of concealed ) and enjoyed the day. Thanks for the gold panning lesson 1911er..
