WCTV News - Poll shows strong support for open carry in Florida

Both men and women clearly favor restoring the right to open carry in Florida!

Two recent surveys of likely voters living in north Florida find strong support for Senate Bill 234. Voters surveyed in the north central Florida counties that comprise state senate district 3 favor the measure by a wide margin (58%-14%). The bill also draws approval by a larger margin (62%-12%) in the northwest Florida counties that make up state senate districts 2 & 4.

It doesn't matter that the people want a freedom back. Law enforcement knows best. If they say no open carry we say yes massa.

This looks like a legit pole. It should be presented at the hearing Monday to make Dean look like even more of a butt afterward.

Note the STRONG support and very week numbers actually opposing. Those who do not support open carry typically don't really care.

It sucks that one senator is going to kill OC in Florida. Oh well, it's actually probably a good thing it's so hard to pass a law here. Gridlock is good, except that when you do loose a freedom, it ain't coming back.

Need to get a lot of speakers organized to speak, if even allowed...

    1) Testimony about the so-called "College Shooting" is deception upon deception. Exactly what we have come to expect from Law Enforcement.

    2) Open Carry is about PREVENTING crimes before they happen; Concealed Carry does not do this.

Liberals and Neocons, when originally passing Florida's CC law way back when, did so knowing that a hidden gun is a useless gun. A hidden gun provokes shootings. A visible one prevents them. Waiting until it is too late is waht CC requires, and this is unacceptable. We deserve better.

The committee agenda for that day is funny, like all their meetings. Every single bill promotes some stupid fascist BS. If Dean runs the meeting they'll spend the whole time talking about his "sexting" bill or about bicycle safety from a senator, who by the look of her, would probably fit right in at the Washington D.C. city council or on Rahm Emmanuel's staff.
