1. Parkville prohibits weapons in city parks, and all CC weapons. The CC prohibitions are unconstitutional in general. OC looks OK except for city parks. I don't know if they can ban CC in city parks, but I would think not. http://codes.sullivanpublications.com/parkville-slp/ section 215.160 and 140.120

2. NKC prohibits both open carry and concealed carry http://library3.municode.com/default-now/home.htm?infobase=16014&doc_action=whatsnew section 9.44.010 Of course, state law preempts their CCW regulations.

3. Gladstone appears to conform with state requirements for CCW licensing, in one section http://library3.municode.com/default-test/home.htm?infobase=13447&doc_action=whatsnew section 3.135.010 But, then another section appears to prohibit having a weapon except to and from your house, range, hunting, etc. That's in section 3.135.030. Of course, state law preempts the CCW restrictions.

Liberty MO's weapons codes are at http://library.municode.com/HTML/11164/level2/PII_C22.html#PII_C22_s22-21 Everything looks good with respect to CC and OC.

Kansas City MO: weapons code is at: http://library.municode.com/HTML/10156/level3/PTIICOOR_CH50OFMIPR_ARTVIIIWE.html Everything looks great with respect to CC and OC.

Sorry about the links that don't take you right to the section. I tried to fix them without luck, hopefully I've provided enough of a clue to look for yourself.

Since I'm N of the river, I've spent most of my time looking at those, and KCMO, wich appears to be fine. Does anyone have anything to add/correct/update?

The evil side of me says to get a shirt that says "I'm carrying a concealed weapon", and try to get myself stopped in Gladstone or NKC (or after a strong opinion on city parks in Parkville). I'd just like to see what happens...

Parkville can not by Missouri law ban or prohibit conceal carry ( except in parks, police stations, government buildings and so forth if i'm not mistaken ). The Missouri CC law preempts their law!

If I read your comment wrong, sorry! :D

I'm not sure how you misread "The CC prohibitions are unconstitutional in general." :D I know that the state CC law preempts local laws, but my specific question on the CC ban in parks is that 571.107.1.(6) appears to only permit local governments to ban CC in facilities, and I can't see that applying to a park. I don't know if there are any other state statutes about parks and weapons though.
