New member from Saint Helen

Hi all,
I'm Yosemite Sam's Daughter. I have slowly been getting more interested and involved in the world of OCing. I appreciate all the wonderful information you provide here for other newbies like me. I had my first OC experience with my Glock 30 yesterday at Jay's Sporting Goods in Clare. I'm taking my CPL classes this weekend so that it will be even easier to carry and allow me to carry in more places.

I'm encouraged to hear of your fledgling experiences and would hope that, 1) it spreads a clear message to our neighbors that this is a good thing to do as pertaining to righteousness and liberty, and, 2) that it would humble and awaken the men-folk to bear arms openly as well. I'd say it's a unique social message when a woman goes about her business peaceably whilst locked-and-loaded in a proper holster.

My family and I live near Merritt in Missaukee County. Perhaps one day we'll meet you in the Houghton Lake/Prudenville area.

Hope that your learn a lot and enjoy your upcoming CPL training course. It certainly is easier to get around with said permit (-though it's too bad Michigander's must needs 'request permission' to carry concealed).
