Cal Guns did us right at this event it was awesome seeing them mixed in with the Brady's holding there little girl parody sign and seeing the sign on fox news was even better

We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. This is why it is beneficial to coordinate with pro-gunners regardless of percieved conflict. While some may not wholly support UOC, there are sufficient numbers of them that sympathize to make a significant impact when the Brady Campaign insinuate themselves upon business owners and liberty loving people.

The best part is that 99% of the Bradytards didn't seem to get the joke. Some even complimented me on my large, well-made sign and made space for me so that traffic could see it better!

The stated reason for the escort was because of the Bradys. Apparently the officers new that the OC'ers guns were unloaded(duh), and for their protection FROM the bradys, decided to the escort.
As stated it was for THE PROTECTION OF THE OC'ERS.

Does anyone know who this dude is? He was frantically trying to debate the Bradys at this event, but nobody seems to know who he is or how he heard about the event. There are some (myself included) who feel that although his heart may have been in the right place, his tactics were less than productive or maybe even counter-productive.

I know who you are talking about without the pic. He stated to me he was on his own and not part of any group. He did argue with the Bradys quite a bit but I am not so worried about it. counter productive? I don't see the Bradys waking up one day and changing sides because we were nice to them. The Bradys are very rude and obnoxious. A taste of their own medicine can't hurt too much.
This is from what I saw and heard. Correct me if I am wrong or missed something.
Perhaps explain what parts you disagreed with.

It might have been a good Idea, for the escort, as the public watching would see OC-ers walking with the LEO's
and they would think "Well they must be the GOOD GUYS " !

No, he didn't necessarily seem rude or obnoxious. Just really hyper and in-your-face. He even started trying to "debate" with me as if I were an anti. Even after calmly telling him: "Read the sign again, I think you misunderstood it...", he keeps asking why I'm against self-defense.
As I said, I think his heart's in the right place. But he would serve himself and our cause a bit better by calming the f down. Even if you have all the facts, reason and logic on your side, it turns people off if you present it like a spaz.

If anyone has been to the SBMC NRA meetings lately they would know who this guy is. He's associated with an NRA MC in the SGV area.
I'm not going to post his name here as I don't see any good coming from a witch hunt.
If anyone sees someone who could hurt our side but appears their heart is in the right place, then why not go over and talk to them to calm them down, posting about it on a forum later does not do a whole lotta good since the potential or perceived damage has already been done.
This internet forum witch hunt seems really pointless at this point.

Just some constructive criticism.
And as for talking to him about it at the event, I would have but as everyone who saw me there knows, I was trying to remain somewhat incognito while the Bradys were around.
