Who here lives in or around Pinal County? Considering my options, may be moving, looking at land, jobs...Want to live in a free state, and I don't want live in the north--no offense to my northern neighbors--but Ohio, and the more Communistic states to my north just isn't for me.

So advice from those in AZ as to where the jobs are, better places to live--meaning small towns and so forth.

thanks to all and carry on.

In my humbel opinion AZ is one of the best states in the Union to live in. Sure we have our own breed of problems but most of these problems are caused by non-native people coming from other states. So, I would try to stay directly out of some of the bigger cities though, that is where the majority or the Socialistic and Commiefornia imports live. Land is cheap and plentiful, buy ya a plot and build and Adobe! :)

I lived in Alaska for most of my life- Been living in Tucson, AZ for going on three months.

I love it down here- Granted I am not sure if I am ready for the summer some times.

There are alot of nice, small, rural places around tucson that I have seen via motorcycle that remind me of alaska all the time.. In the "friendly" / "rural" / "Free" kind of ways..

I don't necessarily like the " One floor parking garage " of tucson but there are alot of small communitys around it and between phoenix that grab my eyes everytime im on a nice ride..

There is alot of work around the "bigger" cities here in southern arizona- Being in the I.T. (Computer/Network technician) industry I basically need to stay around a larger city as this is where the technology work I do is located.

But I don't see why a Electrician / laborer / construction worker / mechanic / entrepreneur / Cable/TV installer / etc couldn't find work at our around similar area's - Granted- This is Arizona. A road in all directions will take you to somewhere so you cant really get to " Out of the middle of nowhere" in southern AZ..

Hope the info helps.. I love Arizona!
