In fact, I believe this would be known as an "epic fail" in parenting skills... on several levels.

Woman uses child as shield against Taser
A domestic dispute that boiled over at a business led to a woman being arrested for disorderly conduct after she used a child as a shield against being Tasered.
...
When police arrived, the woman was holding the hand of a child while shaking her finger in the face of her boyfriend [an employee]... while yelling, "Give me my weed back!"
She struggled with police, refused to give her name and held the child in front of her to avoid being Tasered.
The boyfriend said the two had been living together for a few months but when asked what the woman's last name was said he wasn't sure.

Now I have no problem w/ her refusing to ID herself. No law says she has to, even after being arrested. But the rest?? Put the child in a safe home.
The woman is using drugs, the boyfriend who doesn't know her name might be too, & it sure looks like neither of them cares about the child.

While this is unarguably wrong on several different levels and I do not condone this womans actions by any stretch of the imagination, it is none the less hilarious.

I don't condone using the child as a shield but I know several mothers who use weed and they are good mothers. I don't think "weed" was the problem either. My guess is she has some other issues.

Don't taze me bro

Weed isn't the issue.

Overall she just sounds like a bad parent that doesn't care about her kid.

Pothead Wisdom

A number of years ago, the pothead lady who lived behind us said one of the more wise and insightful things I've ever heard.

"It takes no intelligence to breed."

I would be hard pressed to assign ANY responsibility on this TO THE CHILD!.... Epic fail on Dad with what appears to be an EMPTY shoulder holster and a toddler with fingers on the trigger and muzzle pointed at a person I assume to be HIS father!

It is an Epic fail on the fathers part, I was being sarcastic, and imagine growing up knowing you killed your Dad? Yikes.
