There's just no way to add to what you laughingly call discussion. It does make good joke material at gatherings though.

I don't see you ever using case laws or cites and you have been called out many times for it. Protected class? How so?

Examples of personal attacks.

- Calling another poster a bald-faced liar
- Calling another poster retarded
- Calling another poster a boot-licker.

Contrary to assertions, we do not have an agenda here ... other than to keep the discourse professional that is.

If you think another poster's comments are so stupid as to be made by a mentally undeveloped individual, then surely you should be able to dismantle their ARGUMENT instead of resorting to name calling. That's all we are asking.

I have always said that I would not ban or punish someone for criticizing me and I stand by that. But really? This isn't criticism. It is just childish behavior. Way to portray us as professionals. :banghead:

Ummm, not with this poster, boss. NovaCop229 has an extensive history of evading, strawman, going off on tangents, non-sequitur, etc. I suspect this is why so many people end up in name calling and senseless arguments with him. The frustration from his evasions drives folks over the edge, I'm guessing.

I agree about the name calling; but this poster will not stick to debating a point. This is why I wrote that it is pointless to argue with him.

I haven't had the time to read a number of posts to see the pattern you are describing but that is a debate style that can be infuriating. But, as the Supreme Court likes to remind us, the best remedy for low-value speech is more speech offering an attractive counterpoint. <--- I am taking First Amendment law this term. :)
