Legally, you are permitted to OC while going to, during, and coming from a fishing expedition. In practicality, the "going to" and "coming from" is limited to no stops whatsoever anywhere else. Please refer to §790.25(3)(h).
You may also want to attend one of these events prior to going out on your own.
