Please excuse if this has been asked before. Let's say it is cold outside, your wearing a jacket that is concealling a firearm and you have a CC permit. You stop to eat at a restaurant. You remove your jacket because of the warmth of the restaurant exposing your previously concealed firearm. Are you still lawful/protected by law in the state of Kentucky under the open carry laws?

Another form of asking this would be if I exposed my concealed weapon while reaching for my wallet am I branishing a weapon?

If your firearm remains holstered, there is no "brandishing" or disorderly conduct or inciting a panic, etc.

There is no brandishing law in Kentucky. And the scenerio that you present, I do all the time. Stop at Cracker Barrell, take of my coat putting it on the back of my chair, and my 1911 on my right hip. No one even notices.

Being from COMMIEfornia, this completely blows me away!

Sit down in a restaurant in San Diego with a 1911 on your hip and you won't hear the waitress take your order over the blaring sirens, police helicopters and news helicopters! REALLY!

The OC movement here is in its infancy. SOME cops know something about it, but you're still going to be detained, and made to stand with your hands on your head (and often HANDCUFFED) while sheriffs deputies do a weapons check to make sure it is UNloaded, and make a public spectacle out of their show of power.

I'm going to fall onto my knees in thankful praise the moment I cross the Commiefornia state line for the last time on my way to Free America! I'm never coming back to this cesspool of socialism.
