Pérez asks sergeant at arms to revoke members' gun permission

I wasn't aware that the Sergeant at Arms was authorized to issue CCW's to anyone.

A citizen may not be required to offer a ―good and substantial reason-- why he should be permitted to exercise his rights. The right‘s existence is all the reason he needs.

The legislature changed the law recently to prevent the people with licenses to carry from carrying in the capitol. Previously just a LTC was an exception to the capitol carry prohibition. Now one needs a LTC & approval from the S@A.
