Gunman opens fire in a Dutch Mall, killing 7 and injuring 15, before committing suicide. The news reports say he used an "automatic rifle", but in Euro-speak, that could be anything from a Henry lever-action to an Uzi, so it's hard to tell what he actually used...

Firearms ownership is VERY restricted in the Netherlands, with only 3 firearms for every 100 citizens. To own any firearm, you must be a member of a shooting club, or belong to a hunting club, and all firearms are registered and require permits to purchase, own, and carry (but carry permits are almost non-existent among citizens, with the exception of the well-connected, celebrities, and precious metals dealers).
