While car shopping last night I stopped in Landmark Dodge in Independence. While browsing the cars a salesman came out and introduced himself. He said he noticed I was open carrying my weapon and said he was a retired Blue Springs police officer. He explained to me that he thought as long as it was legal he thought more people should open carry. He said he would rather see a gun on someones hip then to have it hidden on them. If he was just trying to sell me a car it didn't work (Chevy man here) but I did enjoy hearing a positive remark about open carry.
