Part I involved the utterly mindless attempt to spend a country out of a recession. What began as an economic crack in the road was forced into a rather large canyon when The People became concerned that Obama's administration and the Democratic Congress (1st two years) was spending far too much and with little or no accountability, and began tightening their purse strings.

Or perhaps it wasn't so mindless. You see, a healthy economy and a government that's spending only what it really needs to spend doesn't require the following:

Part II involves Obama's recently proposed tax increase.

So: Was the first part just idiotic stumbling on the part of a financially inept president? Or was it part of a master plan to artificially create an excuse to raise taxes?

His proposals mean exactly nothing. Their only effect will be to possibly stimulate his base. The executive and the senate can only advise or say no to any budget, the house is where the budged bill must originate.

They are working hard to remove the upper middle, middle, and working class, whats left is upper and lower.
