I don't know what happened to LD1232 because the mic cut out when they were conducting a vote! That was the most important one and I don't even know how the vote went. I guess we have to wait til the bill's page is updated.

LD932 Passed Amended to include the State House, Cross Building, Tunnels and Walkways connecting them and Parking lots associated with them. Also Amended to include a duty to check in with the Capitol Police to inform them. This duty to inform is currently in place for LEOs and would apply to CCW holders in the same manner.

where can we go for information and updates on whats happening?

umm. It was over at like 12:30, but my last 5 posts or so tell the disposition of each of the bills discussed. They haven't updated the bill's websites yet with the committee's decisions, but the links in Shane's first post will eventually be updated with the bill's current disposition.

Still need help:

MAINE: Pro-Gun Bills Tabled in State Committee Work Session
The Joint Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee tabled three bills to be heard in another work session. They are LD 35 (employee protection), LD 932 (allows concealed carry permit holders to carry in the state House), and LD 1347 (allows carrying of firearms in state parks and historic sites). Please contact the Joint Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee and ask them to support these bills.

i've always disliked how laws are decided by a few men without the say of the people whom they represent. i mean i dont even see why it was voted down. look at Vermont. they have always had constitutional carry. and their crime rate is an eighth of Maines. proof in the pudding somewhere, just gotta convince people to eat it.
