Hey guys,
I live in California and my dad just moved to Nevada so i was wondering what the laws were like in Nevada on open carry and consealed carry. California has alot of laws and i have heard Nevada is pretty laid back. Any advise would help. Like is it legal to open carry? Loaded or unlaoded? is there restricted areas lkike schools? stuff like that. Thanks

You might find "handgunlaw.us" helpful. Click on NV or whatever state you what. You can scroll down for the "statutes" . Some states like NV even goes into rules for long guns.

provided you're old enough and not a prohibited person- open carry generally legal, off limit places are afaik schools, & child care facilities. ( ianal )
Loaded is perfectly acceptable for pistols, rifles/shotguns you can have a magazine inserted but not one in the chamber.
You can carry in urban areas but most "congested areas" are off limits for target practice.
Being a drunk idiot while open carrying is frowned upon and could lead to unpleasant encounters with the law.
