For Concealed Carry To Become a Reality, NRA Needs Your Help!

Attend FREE Workshop and Help secure the Right-to-Carry Concealed. It’s time for Wisconsin to join free America!

Dear Wisconsin NRA Member:

During last November’s elections, NRA members and gun owners throughout the Badger State sent a clear message to elected officials that a strong Right-to-Carry law must be a legislative priority. Residents of Wisconsin sent their legislators to Madison to secure their freedom.

To ensure we are prepared to meet the challenges posed by anti-gun forces and answer questions our members have about this legislation, NRA-ILA Grassroots will be hosting a series of workshops throughout the state. Please plan on attending to learn more about the bills, as well as what you need to do as gun-owners to assist in our efforts.

At this meeting, NRA-ILA Staff will discuss the bills, as well as what each of you need to do to ensure victory. NRA State and Local Lobbyist Darren La Sorte will be on hand along with NRA-ILA Grassroots Staff to lead the workshop.

This meeting is absolutely free and beverages and light snacks will be provided. The workshop will run about 60-90 minutes. Please make plans to attend one of our events and encourage your fellow NRA members and Second Amendment supporters to attend as well.

Two questions, are they going to talk about a permit rather than Constitutional Carry? And, will they "allow" OC at the event?

Unfortunately, I have a prior engagement for May 11 and the other two locations are too far for me to drive. :(

Gander Mountain also allows OC. ;)

All of the places that this is going to be at allow open carry.

I am not sure about any permit stuff, but I know for a fact that we will talk about Constitutional Carry. We all know it is what we want, and this should be a great time to demand the support we need from the NRA. I will bring what little WCI paperwork I still have to pass out. WCI membership needs to grow!
Turnout should be wild. I see it as great for all of us, due to the fact that it helps keep the issue in the news alone.
I for one will OC for it.

Discuss what bills. I know of no bills at this time. You can't develop much of a strategy without knowing the issues. Or is the NRA privy to legislative information we are not?

My guess (and thats all it is) would be that our Reps. have started talking to NRA people about the bill, or bills. I am under the impression that the NRA has had some say in a bunch of the other states CC laws.
Now is the time to let the NRA know what we want. I think a show of support is what is needed.
Lots of people, lots of money, lots of power. We just have to get them to support the law we want...

Can't find your carpool thread. Would have been nice if it was stickied.

I can attend the "I don't know how Richfield is considered Milwaukee" event. But it's a cruise. I'd like to carpool from the south east corner if there is any interest.

( I'm kind of normal in real life I swear )
