The reason I joind in with this was, I wanted to start getting back in shape, and thought watching others do this would be motivation for me. I can't believe how little interest there is in this challenge.

When I got out of the Army, I was doing 200 pushups, 100 situps, and walked 10 miles a day, ( never liked running ). All the years I've Cowboyed, Worked as a carpenter, and dug gold, I stayed in pretty good shape, but as of late, I've seamed to go to pot.

Out of all the people on this forum, it would be nice to see at least 20 people doing this challenge. Just my thoughts.

Had some riding issues today, so only did half the ride

Pushups, 425 + 0 = 425

Situps, 245 + 0 = 245

Riding, 0 + 33 = 33

Running, 10 + 0 = 10

Crap... I was hoping to be the first biking miles... :) It was on sat, but I forgot to add.. :)

Ran 1 mile barefoot on grass yesterday. It was a lot harder with the uneven surface and my bare feet...

Just did 20 in the office. :)




Pushups, 425 + 20 = 445

Situps, 245 + 0 = 245

Riding, 33 + 3 = 36

Running, 10 + 4 = 14



EDIT: Oh, also, I"m adding the 3 miles I ran in my first 5k 2 weeks ago... I know it was before this started, but I'm taking credit for it dammit! lol No training... no warm up... show up, pin on a number, RUN! (then about die the next 2 days lol)

What's not to understand? We're trying to collectively get to the numbers she quoted in her first post... 5000 push ups, 5000 situps, 250 miles on a bike, and 150 miles on foot...

when you ride your bike a mile or whatver, you copy and paste the totals from the person before you, then add your mile or whatever... simple.

OK, I'll play. I'll post my numbers about 9am tomorrow. I don't ride anything, so I can't help with that part. lol

As a side note, has anyone used the Kinect yourshape game? It's an evil contraption that tortures you like a personal trainer and then takes pics of you making a fool of yourself. Had me doing lunges one time and I could barely walk afterward.
We had one since they came out and I was hugely surprised how sore I was. I would encourage it to anyone who wants to have fun with family while destroying your ability to look cool.
