Conceal Carry Legislation is being introduced in Madison. You can find the bill here:

Conceal Carry Legislation

The opposition is already at work trying to thwart the bill. Below is a form letter sent to legislators encouraging them to stop conceal carry:

"The pro-gun lobby would like you to believe that more guns in more places will increase personal safety and prevent crime. Neither is true. Research shows that allowing more people to carry loaded guns in more places will lead to one thing -- more tragedies.

I am asking you to oppose legislation that would allow people to carry loaded guns in Wisconsin - openly or concealed - at banks, concert venues, daycare centers, grocery stores, parks, restaurants, sporting events, Summerfest or other festivals, taverns, and other public places.

Relative to other states, Wisconsin's violent crime rate and firearm death rate are much lower than average. It makes no sense to adopt the policies of states that have more crime, more violence and more gun deaths."

Please contact your representatives and encourage them to support this bill. Wisconsin and Illinois are the only states that do not have some form of conceal carry legislation. We need to protect our 2nd Amendment rights by getting this bill passed.

there, fixed it; it can be sent out now:
