Detroit Hoedown

Anyone know what the carry status at the detroit hoedown will be? are any guns going to be allowed in? do you have to go through metal detectors to get in? etc.

if it's like last year, guns are allowed, but you may still be stopped from bringing them in :lol:

you got that right... did you read the link to the other forum from last year's event? also, if you don't know about the royal oak arts beats and eats festival last year, royal oak tried to keep us out... unsuccessfully.

the law aside - i went last year and it was so crowded and you herded like cattle shoulder to shoulder. if they did let you in OC (which i doubt) you wouldn't be able to protect your weapon. someone could take it out of your holster and you couldn't even move you arms to stop it.
sidenote - i went last year and saw several shirtless fights, a guy in his underwear urinating on himself, a girl vomiting on another girl and the usual drunken activity that goes on there.
