SB 1581, the host bill to which campus carry was attached as an amendment last week was postponed today on the House floor. Since it was on the calendar & was addressed in some form on the floor, as I understand it, the bill can now be brought up for consideration at any time without prior notice.
A total of 77 amendments were pre-filed for this bill. I believe postponing it was a tactical decision to catch those Rep's with proposed amendments off guard in hopes of a speedy passage.
