Janesville Open Carry BBQ is on Sunday! Not saturday due to weather...

Same time, same place. I didnt think about doing it until someone had mentioned starting a new thread to prevent people from arriving on the wrong day. Due to weather, it is now Sunday instead of Saturday. 2pm in Riverside park.

    Lightbulb Ah...Maybe Oldschool Will Attend?

Anyone heard from Oldschool lately? I haven't. I think he doesn't work on Sunday. We should ask Peter if he wants to attend.

You don't have to bring anything unless there is something special u want... If somebody wants, they can grab some chips or soda. I'll be bringing a case or 2 of bottled water. if not, that's ok too.

    Or filet mignon... lol jk

    Oak Creek I could do.
I will nuke a turkey hotdog & OC in my yard while eating it & thinking of you all.
Maybe it'll be nice enough to get the hammock set up.

A bunch of us ate dinner at Lizzy's last night and I asked if anyone had seen you. Nope! We wondered if you were working overtime to get more "toys".

McX, Springfield 1911 and myself intend to be there by 1 or a bit earlier depending on traffic. Now I have to find some cool shoes that match my gun. LOL.

Weatherman says---"For Sunday, there will be a slight reprieve in the morning
before another batch of thunderstorms makes it way across southern
Wisconsin. *The Sunday afternoon storms could become severe, with
potential damaging winds and possible hail. Sunday's high should
    reach the low 80s."

What should we do? Go on with it or reschedule???

Yep full speed ahead is my vote. There is a shelter if it's raining. I'm planning on attending with maybe 1-2 with me.

It was a good time! A couple people I hadn't met before. One Janesville PD SUV drove by twice that I could see.

Thanks to gunguy for the food and the organization!

It was nice to see some new faces, as well as the old ones (no pun intended ).
