Thread: Carry literature needed
I am looking for carry literature to pass on to a few friends and co-workers. Being the resident "gun nut" both at work and in my circle of friends, I get a lot of questions. Most are things like, "How do I get a permit to carry" or "is it true I am allowed to carry a gun?" Some are questions about crime levels and how more people carrying would effect the the overall crime rate.
I recall seeing a few hand outs on open carrying, but I can not recall where these were. Can someone please direct me to a place to print off these hand outs?
No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. Thomas Jefferson (1776)
If you go into a store, with a gun, and rob it, you have forfeited your right to not get shot - Joe Deters, Hamilton County (Cincinnati) Prosecutor
I ask sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people except for a few politicians. - George Mason (father of the Bill of Rights and The Virginia Declaration of Rights)
There were also some that were full color page ads (might have been another site?). One was an ad with a pic of an older black man and it talked about some anti-carry laws stemming from Jim Crow laws. Anyone know what I am talking about?
Follow this link which is also in my sig, which is also a sticky on the top of the WI forum page. Right near the top is a really nice color pamphlet, that's what I use. Most of the things we need to reference are linked on that page.
