Join SBOC at Fiesta Hermosa THIS WEEKEND

Fiesta Hermosa is a 3 Day event, May 28th, 29th, & 30th from 10am-6pm

”largest arts & crafts fair in Southern California”. Over 270 artists and crafters are featured, including painters, photographers, ceramicists, jewelers, sculptors, and handicrafters.

SBOC will have a booth in the "Free speech" zone so please come spend a few hours of your weekend at the booth to help educate people about open carry and their 2A rights.

We have had many many people come by our booth this weekend. Tomorrow is the last day. It'd be really great to have some more OCers out there helping to man the booth and OCing around the Fiesta...

No e-checks or problems of any kind. Chief of police came by today and said hi to me at the booth. Very supportive city! But we need more OCers to come help!

for some reason you are always an assh*le towards me when i post. is there a reason for that or are you just naturally that way ?

If actually open carrying, everything should be videotaped, or at least audio taped.

Post Event Wrap Up

Monday ended with an even better turn out than the previous two days!

I had people who were not part of SBOC come up later and say how they were impressed to see so many people walking around the Fiesta open carrying.

What was great for me was seeing all the new faces out there open carrying. SBOC has really done a great job at spreading the word and engaging new people in open carry advocacy.

These street fairs are one of the best ways we as open carry advocates can educate the public about their rights and NORMALIZE open carry.

We had hundreds of people stop by our booth and learn about open carry, had over 150 sign up for our email list and sold many many memberships and t-shirts.

Couldn't have been done without all the tireless volunteers who got up at 5am to get out there and set the booth up and did not leave until 6pm to take it down, spending their whole weekend there talking to people and representing our cause. I'm proud to have been a part of such a great group of people and will very much miss them all with my move to Virginia.

We had people learn about it Saturday and come back on Monday to open carry! How cool is that?

Here's a pic of him coming by in uniform later in the weekend when I was not around for the skeptics out there.

The reason I asked for the video of the chief was to show other police chiefs like Baca and Beck that its okay to be around citizen gun owners.

There are no "skeptics". You need to lighten up and stop being so thin skinned and sensitive.

Because that will make a difference to them?

You know all the chiefs hang out and talk already right?

The reason I'm so skeptical of you is because you lurk on here all the time and say you are in the area not once have I seen you out OCing or out educating people about 2A rights or at any 2A function (NRA MC or otherwise). Not saying you don't do great work, just saying when I see someone online-only when I know they are in an area with very active IN PERSON efforts to make positive change and they don't show up, it sends red flags up high.

Nothing can change that now though, I'm counting down my last seconds in this godforsaken state.
