As a note, this was before we found out the GFSZ screwup.
He wrote back:
So... he is saying that the House will consider the 'Constitutional Carry with optional (unless you want to carry in a school zone) permit' bill and will pass it in the next 5 weeks.
Representative Nass,
While personally I believe that offering even an optional permit is counter to the smaller government mantra that we all have been preaching, I can support this amendment if it helps get the votes in the Senate and House. While I understand this hasn't come over to the House yet, please understand I support it and would want you to as well.
Please let me know your thoughts.

Thank you for the support. I am cosponsor of SB 93 and will support it on the Assembly floor. I am confident that this bill will get to the Governor's desk by July 1st.
