Stopped in there today and talked to their gunsmith. Nice guy. Didn't have a sight pusher. Tried a punch but couldn't do it. Didn't say he could carbon disc it. .?:banghead:

Did you ask him?

Funny you ask, I had forgotten that in your reply to my original post that you had your sights done there. I mentioned that " someone on the open carry board " said he had his sights cut off but had forgotten you had them done there. He never even flinched. Just said yeah that is an option but didn't say he could do it. Maybe a different gunsmith. He's a younger guy, mid 30's. :mad:

My guy was on the slightly stout side. Late 30's-mid 40's

You must use a sight press, do not ever allow anyone to simply punch in new sights, punching in tri J's or any tritium sights can and likely will break the glass bead and it will not be covered under warranty. N been looking at the tru glow tritiums for my XDM....
