    Open carry mn

Hi, my name is tom, I have had my permit to carry now for a month now and in minnesota we have the option to open carry or conceal and carry. I have never had any bad situations come about while oc. Most ppl dont really even notice that you are carrying, because alot of ppl keep there eyes above the waist. I oc everywhere i go and seems that most ppl look and keep on what they are doing, or they stare until out of site. But just last night i went to super america were the cashier asked me what i was carrying and i said a 9mm glock 17. He said that pretty cool and kept on about his buisness. I dont think im a hotshot cause i carry a gun, i just know that im standing up for my right to oc and like stated many times on here before a right unexcersized is a right lost. So please if you carry a gun oc at least once and see how your reactions differ from all other reactions you read about. Im not sayin oc i right for everybody but maybe for that one person that has never done it, finds he likes that better.

That's good that you haven't had any negative experiences with OCing, though this thread should be in another forums (like the MN forum) since this isn't really "Open Carry.org in the News"

    What?
"No state shall convert a liberty to a privilege, license it, and charge a fee therefor.- Murdock vs Pennsylvania 319 US 105

...If the state converts a right into a privelege, the citizen can ignore the license and fee and engage in the right... with impunity.
    - Shuttleworth vs City of Birmingham, Alabama 317 US 262

Where rights secured by the Constitution are involved, there can be no legislation which would abrogate them.
    - Miranda vs Arizona 384 US 436
