I had both amendment 1 and 2 up side by side. If I read the amendment 2 correctly, they want to impose more restrictions and remove other lines that gave us a little more freedom. You may want to do the same and compare the two.

WOW I don't have enough room to describe all the problems with that amendment. They are trying to override private property rights of nonprofits, home daycare, medical clinics, private business.

Although there are only two people senators asking for this amendment, we need to make sure that Galloway and the others does not accept it.

That amendment did not pass in the committee, voted down 3-2. When the bill goes before the full Senate there can be new attempts to amendments. We'll have to watch carefully.

Please read the history here: http://legis.wisconsin.gov/2011/data/SB93hst.html It will show that SA1-SSA1-SB93 and SA2-SSA1-SB93 were voted down. SSA1, SA3 and SA4 were passed. So.... to read the bill at it stands now, you need to amend SSA1 with SA3 and SA4 and the amend SB93 with SSA1.

I know it's confusing but that is the way it works.

I am concerned that none of the proposed, or updated bills bear the words: SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.

(there is also no mention of cheeseburgers either)
