Walker either caved or betrayed us

Talk is cheap. When there is ink on the bill then decisions can be made, until then everything is speculation. The best thing we all can do is continue to contact our law makers and make our voices heard.

I am tired of being lied to by politicians that would rather yield to criticism by a police chief that would never support the governor than the people who have worked long and hard to get him elected in hope that he would effect a change that would reflect the will of the people.

Keep the pressure up for what we want, see what they try to give us and then make up your mind afterwards.

Don't give up! I really believe that by the end of the week (6/10) we will have a much clearer picture.

I think Walker needs to be reminded that Flynn is police chief for less than 10% of the Wisconsin population. Milwaukee might be the biggest city, but there are over 5 million Wisconsinites who don't live there.

I'm 900 miles south of his closest constituent, so I don't think my letter would carry much weight (even though I have inlaws and outlaws throughout the region).

Feel free to use and share the sentiment, though! Good luck with your efforts. I'd love to rub it into the Texas gatekeepers' faces if you win true constitutional carry.

I hope that if he does sign what you want that those of you who are ready to hang him right now will show equal levels of determination when it is time to support Walker.

I really think people are putting the carriage ahead of the horse on this right now.

Same here. It is good to be cautious and prepare for the worst, but we can also affect the outcome by calmly reasoning and warning the Governor.

Look at that thread, send that type of email, call and express those kinds of feelings, and then if he actually stabs us in the back (as opposed to talking about it), do what you think is necessary.

He has been my hero and I have let everyone know it. Look at my avatar. I have a t-shirt the same and I where it often. I have been to the capital and faced unoin protestors to show my support for Walker.

He signs a Constititional Carry bill into law that will not change. He signs anything other than Constitutional Carry, I burn the shirt.

Haven't we been over this a dozen times already?? It would be like me saying that I think you should be arrested and put in jail for something you might possibly do 6 months from now...

Send a nice but firm letter, make some phone calls... if things do go the way you want then pop a vein in your forehead at that time..

Instead of getting riled up and abandoning ship maybe our time would be better spent sending messages and emails stating that we fully expect him to support whatever bill is presented to him and focus our real energy letting our representatives know what it is that we expect them to present to him for signing.

How about a little less of the "elitist" crap and maybe instead flip out the welcome mat for new members that are here to support the same things are you.. being here 10, 20 years or even since the day Al Gore invented the interwebs doesn't give anyone the right to be rude and condescending.

I am not talking tough, and I most certainly don't need to be here a few years before I can openly state my opinions.

I have nothing against anyone having their own opinions, I appreciate everything that everyone here has done (that's why I joined the site) but come after me talking down to me like that and I will throw it back as well.

Wisconsin is an extremely liberal state. Our Democrats are actually Socialists and Marxists, and our Republicans are actually Democrats. And that is who we are dealing with. For years we have fought for concealed carry. The Republicans who opposed it teamed up with the Democrats to deny it. Republicans voted for it, knowing Doyle would veto it anyway.

When this latest bunch of Republicans ran for office, they promised us concealed carry. They pictured CCW with permits and training. At the time, most of us pictured the same thing. But Constitutional Carry caught our attention.

Personally I think it will be a great victory for freedom if we just get CCW. Period. I want Constitutional Carry myself, but I am not willing to wait years longer just because we can't get Constitutional Carry this time around. Just getting a CCW bill signed into law gives us a huge boot in the door for the future.

I'll keep emailing Luther Olsen and Walker pushing Constitutional Carry. But I'll be happy if we win the right to carry concealed weapons. By taking an all or nothing stance we might find ourselves with no voice as to any permit and training details. Let's get the best deal we can get.

Not only are you right on target! We do not want to omit some of the (Wiener's) we have elected and pay salaries too. Like Glock said, Re-call Walker!!!!, as he is proving to be a wiener as well. I voted for him???? I believed what he was saying!
