Hi, great site, happy I found it.

Now to my query. I plan to OC in the interim until my license comes back and was wondering about a small detail.
If I carry OWB, shirt tucked in, what's rules about wearing a button down shirt on top, unbuttoned maybe tucked behind or free flowing? Or a small jacket for that matter?
Is a loose button-down/jacket pretty much a no-no when you go OC?

:D

Seeing as you are in Kentucky, I'm going to caution you against wearing clothing that COULD conceal your firearm.

Just as on other gun forums, the CC only crowd is super paranoid about printing or having the wind blow their cover garments open to expose their handguns, you should be super paranoid that the opposite would happen without a KY CCDW (or any other state that has unlicensed OC, but licensed CC).

Don't chance becoming a prohibited person by accidentally concealing.

Once you have your CCDW (not that difficult in KY) then it doesn't matter. OC or accidental CC you are good to go. :)

Not to mention you will no longer need to disarm when getting into a vehicle. Though the "glove box" law is great in KY, and even better now that it has been extended to other factory compartments.

EDIT: Forgot to add, Welcome to OCDO!

Thanks!
I didn't think it was OK, just making sure. So shirt tucked in, firearm/holster fully visible, 100% legal OC in KY.
My buddy has recently started OC, waiting on his license. He's was confronted by a local deputy about it. Everything went sorta ok, it's just boils down to our local PD being a bit... hubristic.
