A good article in the Journal. Here is what I wrote our governor:

Governor Walker, according to http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/news/123198683.html only 9% of Democrats like you. You trying to placate them by endorsing permits and training for concealed carry might get you to 11%, however, your 87% Republican support would probably drop to 60% or less. Please, you have been very consistent and truthful throughout your campaign and your 1st several months in office, don't reverse your 'less taxes, less regulation' mantra now. Training is a false flag. Many states do not require training and have no issue. WI has never required a permit for open carrying and it hasn't been an issue. Please stay the course towards smaller government, less regulation and urge that SB93 become the law of WI.
