Finally, hopefully Holder and the ATF agents involved who did nothing to stop it go to jail.

1st Gunrunner hearing to ‘lay the groundwork’ – witnesses identified

A list of three key witnesses in next Monday's initial Congressional hearing on Operation Fast and Furious has been obtained by this column.
Described as the “first of several” Capitol Hill hearings on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ Project Gunrunner and Operation Fast and Furious, Monday's session is designed to “lay the groundwork” for subsequent hearings, and the possible initiation of contempt proceedings, congressional sources have indicated to this column.

Keep an eye on this one folks...

Dont be surprised if several of the key witnesses decide not to testify, or simply disappear or suddenly die of "natural causes" or "tragic accidents".

When you're testifying against a Mafia group, "accidents" often happen, and witnesses often "change their minds"...

I'm sure it would happen a lot less if everyone carried a firearm....

Officials at the Department of Justice are in "panic mode," according to multiple sources, as word spreads that congressional testimony next week will paint a bleak and humiliating picture of Operation Fast and Furious, the botched undercover operation that left a trail of blood from Mexico to Washington, D.C.

I just wish I could leave a comment on these articles to clarify that the stores weren't selling "assault rifles" like they keep claiming.

Great article. Looks like the hot seat is starting to warm up just a little.

One could only wish for the red glow of molten metal before the ATF's ass gets to plop down on it.

BREAKING: 1st Gunrunner hearing offers no surprises

Monday’s opening session in what will likely become a series of hearings on Project Gunrunner and Operation Fast and Furious before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform demonstrated that Chairman Darrell Issa is laying a strategy to hold people accountable for an operation that sent thousands of guns illegally to Mexico.

If Rep. Issa REALLY believes that Gunrunner was a "botched sting operation" and NOT an outright fully-orchestrated false-flag op DESIGNED to be what would have amounted to a Reichstag Fire for the Gun Control movement, then he is either delusional, or on the take...

Also Tried to Stop It

This guy may be one of the heroes. He may be a big headache for the BATFE, Holder and Obama. If he has an accident or gets suicided like the British weapons specialist David Kelly then you may know why.

Darren Gil was ATF's lead official in Mexico during "Fast and Furious."

Gil retired from ATF in December, in part over his objections to Fast and Furious and the way it was handled. He says he's speaking out because nobody else in charge has stepped up to explain that ATF agents in Mexico were never part of it. Yet they're now facing threats of prosecution from some Mexican politicians.

"The (Mexican) government's looking at (ATF agents) potentially bringing weapons into their country, which in many cases is an act of war." Gil says by not explaining that ATF agents in Mexico weren't part of Fast and Furious, ATF executives are putting the agents in danger. "They're leaving my guys out in Mexico alone, and they're not doing the right thing."

So funny. Project Gunrunner started under the Bush Administration. I would like a link to the official policy of Project Gunrunner, and where Holder is getting his 'authority' to send firearms over the border.

As much as some of the wishful thinkers on here would love for it to go to the Top, it won't. Things like this rarely, almost never reach the Top, even if they should.

You are working under the assumption that on matters of the Constitution, and particularly the 2A, there is any difference between the current administration and the previous one...

The "administration" didn't really change. They just flipped the rotten slice of baloney over to the other side. The baton was passed from the "right hand" to the "left hand", but the "runner" is still the same...

I have stated numerous times that They occupy the same coin, just different sides.

So, Liberals, and Conservatives have both been duped.

As I understood the account, it is under the Holder/Obama BATFE that upper level managers began approving improper gun sales over objections of FFL's and ATF field agents that resulted in large quantities of weapons going to Mexico.
