free outdoor ranges, do they exist anymore? missing larch mtn. pit.

ok so i live in se portland, i used to go shooting at larch mt. but u cant shoot there any more. thanks to some stupid kids.
so does anyone else know of any outdoor pits where u can shoot for free pistol or long gun. i have a member ship to an indoor range but no rifle shootin there, and not a fan of there pricing policy. im lookin for sumthin close, i dont wanna drive to k falls shoot.
