Oly photojournalist uses 2A when 1A threatened

Threats, harassment and intimidation by anarchist thugs against an Olympia photojournalist apparently hit the outer limits when Tony Overman revealed to MyNorthwest.com that the most recent attack, at his residence, left him alarmed and armed.

Most of the anarchists I've seen who protest are nothing more than Marxists and/or Socialists. Which is the exact opposite of what they claim to be. You want a damn near anarchist in American politics look no further than Thomas Jefferson. Here's one of my favorite quotes from Emma Goldman, "Anarchism, really stands for the liberation of the human mind from the dominion of religion; the liberation of the human body from the dominion of property; liberation from the shackles and restraint of government. From what I've seen these guys are not man enough to be free individuals.

Once more again, I have to point out that rock-throwing thugs who initiate force in order to compel others to do things there way, are the antithesis of anarchy.

Anarchy literally means "without rulers", and it doesn't matter if those "rulers" are elected, or self-appointed hoodlums who try to batter and intimidate everyone into doing things their way.

Anyone who initiates force is not an anarchist. Period.

You clearly misunderstand even the most basic premises of anarchic theory. In a truly anarchic society, there would be no restrictions on acquiring arms or employing them in defense of oneself or one's property. A small man, such as you describe, with any intelligence, would be well-armed at all times, and by employing the great equalizer he can hopefully deter, but if necessary, neutralize the threat. Further, his neighbors, not wanting to create a precedent of aggressors going unpunished, which would threaten the stability needed for economic prosperity, would come to the man's defense.

You see, people don't need to be good-hearted for anarchy to work, at least in theory. They need only be rational and self-interested, willing to engage in mutually-beneficial economic transactions. I'm not saying that it is gospel truth, but it merits serious consideration based upon actual facts.

If anarchists are so proud of their "movement" then why all the masks and hoods? What makes them different from the mid-east religious fanatics that riot and bomb anything and everything? That never show their faces, even in their propaganda videos and pictures.

You can defend the anarchist movement all you want but in practice it's proven over the last century to be just a bunch of spineless thugs that can only survive through anonymity. Whatever "good" might exist in the movement is overshadowed by the damage and destruction they seem to thrive on. History has shown that whenever the hoods and masks come out, no good comes from it.
"If I shoot all the ammo I am carrying I either won't need anymore or more won't help"

"If you refuse to stand up for others now, who will stand up for you when your time comes?"

They're not anarchists, really wish this label would quit being thrown around. They're hooded thugs who destroy property for no other reason than just to be ********.
