"Must notify", versus the First Amendment

Has there been a challenge of any "must notify" law, on the basis that is is "compelled speech", in violation of the First Amendment?

It's an interesting challenge; I was curious if anyone know if it's been attempted.

    Howdy Pard!
Don't know the answer to your question, but it is also a violation of your 5th Amendment right to remain silent. An affirmative answer gives the officer tacit RAS to infringe on other rights, such as search and seizure.

I can't see how such a requirement can hold water.
